Overview
Urine FISH is a test to evaluate chromosomal abnormalities that are related to bladder cancer. A sample of urine is needed to test for certain proteins that detect bladder cancer or monitor reoccurring bladder cancer.

There is no special preparation used for a urine FISH test. It is important to notify your doctor of any medical conditions or any medications you are taking prior to any testing.
