Testicular Cancer Markers/Alphafetoprotein and Beta HCG

Testicular cancer markers are measured to determine the presence and/or spread of testicular cancer. Testicular cancer markers include Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and Beat-human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) and they are measured via blood test.

How to prepare for the test

There is no special preparation used for testicular cancer markers. It is important to notify your doctor of any medical conditions or any medications you are taking prior to any testing.
