A 24 hour urine test is a non-invasive diagnostic test. It is used to identify the cause and treatment options for those patients with reoccurring kidney stones. You will collect all of your urine for a duration between 24 and 48 hours and it is sent to a lab to be tested.

How to prepare for the test

There is no preparation needed for this testing. Your urologist will go over with you any restrictions and guidelines of how the test should be performed.
